The Police Retirement System of St. Louis, Missouri

At its meeting on May 26, 2021, The Board of Trustees of the Police Retirement System, upon the report of a Special Counsel assigned to investigate the matter, voted to accept the Special Counsel’s report and to publish Suggestions of Allegations of Misconduct as to Trustee Gary R. Wiegert.  The Board also set a hearing for July 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. for review of the conduct alleged and to afford Trustee Wiegert the opportunity to show cause why sanctions should not be imposed.  The hearing will be presided over by an appointed Hearing Officer to receive evidence and testimony, and to issue written recommendations to the Board on the basis of any relevant evidence and testimony presented.  The hearing will take place at the office of the Police Retirement System and will be open to the public.
