IMPORTANT DATES
Elections for trustees to serve 3-year terms on the Board of Trustees for the Police Retirement System will take place beginning in August. There will be an election for one active trustee position as well as one retired trustee position. Each election will take place on the same schedule.
Filing Period
Starts Monday, August 1, 2022 at 8:00 a.m.
Closes Friday, August 5, 2022 at 4:00 p.m.
Candidates must file in person at the Police Retirement System office, 2020 Market Street.
Candidates for Position of ACTIVE Trustee
At the close of this year’s Trustee Election Filing Period (4:00 P.M., 08/05/2022), the following have filed a Declaration of Candidacy for the position of Active Trustee to this System’s Board of Trustees for the three- year Term of Office which begins October 1, 2022:

Candidates for Position of RETIREE Trustee
At the close of this year’s Trustee Election Filing Period (4:00 P.M., 08/05/2022), the following have filed a Declaration of Candidacy for the position of Retiree Trustee to this System’s Board of Trustees for the three- year Term of Office which begins October 1, 2022:

- Patricia Thomas
Envelopes bearing the return address of the System’s auditor, Sikich LLP and marked “Official Pension Ballot” will be mailed to the home of record of every active and retired officer on Friday, September 2, 2022. The envelopes will contain the official ballot and a postage-paid return envelope addressed to the office of the auditor, Sikich LLP. Only those ballots received in the auditor’s office prior to 4:00 P.M. on Friday, September 16th will be counted.
Voting Period
Ballots mailed to all persons eligible to vote on Friday, September 2, 2022.
Ballots must be received in the office of Sikich, LLP (formerly Hochschild, Bloom & Co.) no later than Friday, September 16, 2022 at 4:00 p.m.
Election Results
Results of the election will be announced after 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2022.
Assuming Office
Elected trustees to take office on or after October 1, 2022, once qualified and credentialed.
